Heard an inspiring story shared by Edwin Li today.

Insight:
I'm just like the deer.
The certificates, master degrees and all those diplomas are my beautiful horns.
When I'm ready to jump over the hurdle and turn a new leaf, they have become my obstacles.
My ugly legs (teaching experience as a tutor) may instead save me.

But definitely, the horns may grow back.
When my tutorial centre really becomes a success, I'll be too old to embrace the success.
I may not be able to tailor make so many materials for my students.
They'll leave me.

Even if you're a very successful educator, got a lot of awards, have a lot of students, so what?
There's a limit for everything.
Just like swimming. U can be an excellent swimmer, got a lot of awards, but there's a finishing line.
If your target is being the fastest, running may be better.
Even the 100th runner is faster than you.
But most people would stay in the swimming pool and keep swimming.
This is their comfort zone.

But after leaving the pool and become a runner, others may laugh at you:
u r gd at swimming, why on earth do u wanna become a runner?
How can u run faster than the experts?

For most people, after hearing that, they simply go back to their familiar field: quit running, resume swimming.
After jumping into the swimming pool again, they'll never leave the pool anymore.
